St. Paul Lutheran Church

Confirmation

Sundays during the school year, 6pm-7:15pm.

All youth 5th-8th grade participate in study of God's Word, Luther's Small Catechism, and contemporary issues in the world. These years are also a time of forming servants for Christ as we have worship but also take opportunities to serve our community and also have time of fellowship together.

We share confirmation with St. James Lutheran, Holland, MN.

After class is Jr. SPY youth group.

Confirmation/ Jr SPY Meals

Thank you for providing meals for our confirmation and Jr. SPY evenings. We have items such as plates, silverware, napkins, cups, and drinks. If needed, we can also have chips, please just let us know. Please plan for 35-40 youth. There are two slots so if you want to share or team up with others you may. Thank you!

Confirmation Verse Considerations:
Pick confirmation verse or verses, there are many on the sheets attached or you may choose one not listed. Confirm with Pastor before announcing or writing essay.
Essays are to be read in church Sunday, April 26th. Draft send and review due to Pastor by April 17th, final revisions done by April 22nd.

Essays should include at least:
Verse and what it means for you/ why did you pick it?
What does it mean for you to be confirmed?
What does it mean to be a member of the church?
How do you plan to continue to be a part of the church community?
How do you plan to continue to grow in your faith?
